What a year.
2016 started in Chicago, this was one of the most unique places to bring in a New Year and it was a perfect place to kick off an extremely productive year.
My first adventure took of the year took me to Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Tommy and I were there for a week and it was a great experience.
February came around and my wife and I celebrated 1 year of marriage in Asheville, NC/Gatlinburg, TN. It was truly great to get away to a place with literally no cell phone service.
I turned 20 in March. I reflected on the blessings that 19 gave me and focused on what I wanted to do before I turned 21.
In April I opened a Roth IRA, met Steve-O, went to Opening Day and got rear-ended by a cop... Then realized none of those things mattered while singing "Happy Birthday" to my daughter on her first birthday. (Except the IRA, that kinda matters I guess)
In May I traveled out to Seattle to spend a week with my pal Edgar. Fun times were had and I jumped into a freezing cold Pacific Ocean.
My little girl took her first steps in June, a month where we decided to take two weeks off and stay in Chicago. Have you ever walked downtown with a stroller? Don't.
July's adventures took me to Milwaukee for a small role in an Amazon Prime series and a soccer match between Real Madrid and PSG.
I produced my first film in August. I also met Chance the Rapper. Rate: 10/10, would do both again.
In September, I witnessed the Saint Pablo Tour and joined the Boy Band team (an awesome movie we shot in October!)
On October 5th, I lost one of the greatest men I had ever met. My grandfather was such an inspiration to me because he truly cared about people and worked very, very hard to provide for his family. Two things that I try to do each and every day.
A lot of the stuff that happened in November and December I can't really discuss.
My path of travel this year was: Chicago -> Columbus -> Salt Lake City -> Gatlinburg -> Asheville -> Louisville -> Pittsburgh -> Seattle -> Portland -> Fort Wayne -> Chicago -> Milwaukee -> Columbus -> Chicago. The home base was Cincinnati, it just felt repetitive typing that.
In 2016, I worked on ad campaigns with: Uber, Acura, Samsung, Hallmark, Taco Bell, Red Bull, Old Spice, Head & Shoulders, Ubisoft, Sony Entertainment and many others.
Right now I am trying to tackle the world before it tackles me. Thank you for following my adventure and here's to 2017.
